With the strength of the Almighty, we were able to distribute parcels for Eid this year. From Parkwood, to Wynberg, to Lentegeur, the impoverished is everywhere and hunger does not discriminate. Thanks for your support.
Exceed 1,000 mouths

Amazing opportunity being able to feed not only the children and their parent but also the staff of Red Cross Children Hospital. We thank Carla Brown for providing us with the opportunity and Aaqil for assisting with the collection.

Founded in 2008, Where Rainbows Meet Training & Development Foundation is based in Vrygrond, a multi-cultural community of nearly 40,000 and the oldest informal settlement (1900) in Western Cape. Vrygrond is situated near the coastal suburb of Muizenberg, about 20 km from central Cape Town.
More than half (59.2%) of the population in Vrygrond and surrounding communities have been victims of crime. In addition, many of the men, women, and children of Vrygrond and surrounding communities haveexperienced robbery, hijacking, deliberate damage to property and sexual assault/rape.
We were welcomed by Mymoena and overwhelmed with the amount of people. We appreciate the opportunity to assist this community and we thank Mymoena and her team and that the Almighty grant them the strength to continue the good work.

Lastly we were able to support an organisation called Shalom Community in Lotus River headed by Margo. We look forward to feeding the impoverished with the support of Margo and her team, keep up the great work.
Life is better with a HotDog
The team decided to do something different by making Hot Dogs and chips. The distribution of the 320 Hot Dogs went to the Saartjie Baartman Centre for abused woman and their children, to the Habibia Girls Orphanage and to Dove Road in Parkwood. We had such a great welcome at the aforementioned organisations by Melanie and Ghyroeniesa respectively.
We thank the Almighty for the opportunity and to establish these connections with these organisations.
Off to a Great Start

On Sunday, 18 April 2021 we undertook to start our feeding initiatives with the target set to feed 30,000 mouths. Through the grace of God we managed to feed approximately 300 people within the Parkwood and Schaapkraal (Egoli) communities respectively.
We would like to firstly thank God for giving us the strength, our sponsors for their generous contributions and everyone that contributed their valuable time to assist with the cooking,, packaging and distribution.
